Amplifying the Force that Powers Gamestorming

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
This four-hour advanced online workshop is for facilitators and practitioners who already leverage innovation and imagination—and want to use gamestorming techniques to work more consciously with those capacities within a group process. Participants will learn to understand imagination as a dynamic system rather than a personality trait, and engage it as a force that can be tuned, stabilized, and directed in service of collective problem-solving.
Participants will learn gamestorming moves that use imagination to surface non-obvious futures. The focus will be on amplifying collaborative intelligence—supporting emergence while maintaining facilitator presence and inspiring better outcomes.
Participants will walk away with a repeatable imagination-amplifying gameful meeting agenda, a personal “Imagination Regulator,” and a group-level imaginal diagnostic tool. This is a deepening of facilitator practice and presence, where imagination becomes a force for insight and future creation.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this four-hour experience, you will:
Understand imagination as a dynamic system, an emergent field that can be tuned (not a trait)
Recognize the difference between fantasy, projection, and generative imagination
Learn to amplify imagination intentionally in groups using multi-sensory techniques
Learn advanced imaginal gamestorming sequences to surface non-obvious futures
Strengthen facilitator presence and nervous-system regulation inside the imaginal field
About the Facilitators
Sunni (Sun) Brown is founder of the Center for Deep Self Design and is co-facilitating this workshop with her long-time friend and colleague, Patti Dobrowolski. Sun’s bio can be found on this very website.
